Camps at Davie Ranch

Activities at Davie Ranch Camps teach fundamental life skills such as observational and improvisational skills, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, and most of all, empathy and compassion.

We currently offer a variety of Camps for kids of all ages.

Adventure Camp

Ages 6-12
Camp Hours: 9am - 3pm

Activities include:

  • Lake activities/kayaking, paddle boarding & swimming

  • Fishing

  • Bathing & grooming of horses, ponies and other farm animals

  • Petting farm care

  • Care for chickens at the coop

  • Nature based learning & sustainability lessons

  • Playground fun

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Games & sports

  • Archery

Riding Camp

Ages 6-12
Camp Hours: 9am - 3pm

Activities include:

  • DAILY Horseback riding lessons for beginners to intermediate riders 

  • Bathing & grooming of horses, ponies and other farm animals

  • Petting farm care 

  • Care for chickens at the coop

  • General Horsemanship 

  • Lake activities/kayaking, paddle boarding & swimming

  • Playground fun

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Games & sports 

  • Archery

Pony Camp

Camp Hours: 9am - 3pm

Activities include:

  • ​DAILY lessons and trail riding on ponies

  • Bathing & grooming of horses, ponies and other farm animals

  • Petting farm daily visit

  • Chicken coop visit

  • General Horsemanship 

  • Lake activities/kayaking, paddle boarding & swimming

  • Playground fun

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Games & sports

  • Archery

Level Up Program

Ages 9-14
Camp Hours: 9am - 3pm

Our Advanced Riding Program is for current students who already know how to walk, trot and canter.

Activities will include those in Riding Camp with more advanced focused training.

CIT Program

CIT-Training

Ages 13-15
Camp Hours: 9am - 3pm

A Counselor in Training, or CIT, is a vital part of the Davie Ranch Camp program

The CIT program is for those entering the 7th through 10th grades (ages 13-15)

 

As a CIT you will assist the staff with activities, arts and crafts, games, meals, cleaning and in general, making the camp run! A CIT is someone who is dependable and is willing to work hard while having a great time! You will be helping staff oversee campers from the grades of Kindergarten through the Sixth grade. 

Week 1: June 17 - 21

Week 2: June 24 - 28

Week 3: July 1 - 3 (DAY CAMP)
Closed July 4-5

Week 4: July 8 - 12

Week 5: July 15 - 19

Week 6: July 22 - 26

Week 7: July 29 - Aug 2

Week 8: August 5 - 9

Lunch & Snack

Please send your child with a labeled, non-perishable lunch, plenty of water & 1 nutritious snack daily.

 

Camp Shirt

  • Camp T-Shirts available for purchase, 5 day pack or single shirts.

Terms & Conditions

  • Tuition will be charged upon registration. No refunds, transfers or make-ups for absence, withdrawal or cancellation after 1st day of camp has started 

  • Campers must turn minimum age before the session in which they are registered begins 

  • Campers are grouped by age. The ranch will not promise the pairing of campers

  • Horses and tack are included

  • Helmets are required
